How to take care of your skates.

A good pair of skates and blades are expensive. If you are in your skates and not on the ice, you should be wearing hard guards. After skating use a soft cloth to dry your blades and put on soakers (soft towel like guards that you can buy at any pro shop or online) and put in your skate bag. Once home, take your skates out to air dry and take off the soft guards too. For more information about blade sharpening click here.
